Ferrules and sleeves are the key components of connectors, which ensure perfect alignment of the fiber after connection to prevent signal loss. Saint-Gobain ZirPro provides yttria-stabilized zirconia powders which are the industry reference in the manufacturing of ferrules and sleeves for optical fiber connectors.

CY3Z-M zirconium dioxide powders are especially well suited for the injection molding process of ferrules whereas CY3Z-P grade (3 mol% yttria-stabilized zirconia) has been specifically developed for the manufacturing of sleeves using ZirPro��s latest technology improvements.
